CONTACT US (PVL)

  • VQ has three age groups: Under 15, Under 17, and Under 19. Players must trial that corresponds to their age group. A player is not allowed to turn that age in that calendar year (e.g. a player playing in Under 17 cannot turn 17 in that year).

    • Under 15: Born 2012 or younger

    • Under 17: Born 2010 or younger

    • Under 19: Born 2008 or younger

    • Tier 1/Tier 2: Born 2007 or younger

  • Athletes that are in the Junior Tier are also able to play up into Tier 1 and Tier 2. This will typically cost them an additional season fee.

    There are opportunuties for players to move up during the course of the season due to performance or injuries.

  • While we would prefer you to register so we have your information, you may turn up on the day to trial. You will need to complete the trial form at the venue as well as pay the trial fee.

  • For all except Tier 1, there are three trial sessions. You must attend at least one (1) session to be considered.

    We do recommend you attend as many trials as possible so we can see you over multiple days.

    If you cannot attend trials, please let us know in the trial form under comments.

  • Please put in a trial form and state in the comments your unavailbility to trial in person. We’ll reach out to you and see what we can do!

  • The trial cost is a flat fee of $25.00 for all trials you participate in. Across the trial period, you may trial for as many or as little teams/divisions as you’d like. There are no refunds on the trial fee, nor is there a cost for a single day trial.

  • Any athlete that trialed for Wests will be notified of their selection outcome from “Offers - Wests Volleyball” on their primary email by the following dates:

    TIER 1: Wednesday, 11 February 2026
    TIER 2: Friday, 20 February 2026
    JUNIORS: Friday, 20 February 2026

    Please be aware that there is a $200.00 non-refundable commitment fee to confirm your selection.

PVL TRIALS - FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

PVL TRIALS - TIER 1

  • TIER 1 MEN
    Dependant on the number of athletes registered, Tier 1 Men may be split into two trial times. Tier 1 Men will only have two (2) trial dates on offer so that any player that is unsuccessful may trial for a Tier 2 position.

      • With Split: (3:00pm - 4:30pm / 4:30pm - 6:00pm)

    TIER 1 WOMEN (CHALLENGER)
    Will trial with Tier 2 Women, however may split should number of registrations be higher than anticipated.

  • All athletes that trialed for Tier 1 will be notified of their selection outcome after Trial 2 on Wednesday 11 February 2026.

  • TIER 2 MEN

    Should registrations allow, multiple teams may be entered into a division (e.g. multiple teams in Division 1, etc)

  • Selection Outcome for all that trialed in Tier 2 will be released by Friday 20 February 2026.

  • We encourage those trialing in the Junior Tier to participate in the Tier 2 trials as well for both experience and a potential to play up!
