COACHING AND REFEREEING
COACHING OPPORTUNITIES
Coaches play one of the most vital roles in our club - they provide guidance to our players and help them learn and grow as not just athletes but also people.
We’re always looking for new people keen on joining our coaching ranks and to give them opportunities to impact the development of our playing base.
Below are some opportunities for coaching both at Wests and our partners.

If you are interested in coaching with us this season at PVL, please complete the EOI Form below.
Minimum Requirements: Level 2 Coaching Accreditation or previous coaching at PVL or similar.
Payment: Coaches will receive a lump-sum payment for their contribution. Please note that this is not a casual position.

REFEREEING OPPORTUNITIES
Referees are an important part of our game, they keep control of the court and the flow of the game.
At Wests, we’re invested in developing referees as well as players - below are some opportunities (both paid/voluntary) to officate at Wests (mainly at the Premier Volleyball League).

As part of our nomination to Tier 1, Wests are required to provide referees to officiate.
Minimum Requirement: Level 2 Accreditation
Payment: $45.00 per match (from Volleyball Queensland) -
With our partnerships with GPS Schools such as Brisbane Boys College and Nudgee College, there are several paid opportunities to referee in the GPS Season from the junior level (Y7-10) to the highest to competition has to offer (Y10A - First VI).
Minimum Requirements:
Junior Teams: Level 1
Senior Teams: Level 2
First VI: Preferred Level 3, Level 2 Minimum
Payment: Vaires with match (minimum of $30.00 for Senior Teams, $25.00 for Junior Teams)
